This disc brake disc is designed specifically for three-wheeled canopy vehicles. It plays a crucial role in the braking system by working with the brake caliper to deliver strong stopping power, allowing the vehicle to decelerate or stop quickly. The disc is typically equipped with heat sinks or ventilation holes to dissipate heat generated during braking, helping maintain consistent performance and reducing the risk of brake fade. Its simple and reliable structure ensures long-lasting operation with minimal failure, lowering the need for frequent maintenance or replacement. Aesthetically, the disc features a sleek, polished finish with a clean, modern look.
Before purchasing, make sure to measure the old disc’s outer diameter, inner diameter, and hole pitch, and check whether it is concave or convex.
Installation Instructions:
-
Gather Tools and Materials: You will need wrenches, screwdrivers, a jack, brake fluid, and brake pads.
-
Remove the Old Disc: Loosen and remove the screws securing the original disc using the appropriate tools. Be cautious to avoid damaging the brake lines or nearby components.
-
Install the New Disc: Align the new disc’s holes with the mounting points on the wheel and secure it with screws. Ensure proper alignment and avoid over-tightening.
-
Mount the Brake Caliper: Attach the caliper to the frame and connect the brake fluid line securely, ensuring no leaks.
-
Adjust the Brake System: Align the caliper so the gap with the disc is even. Adjust the brake pedal travel for optimal performance, and check for fluid leaks.
Note: Installation methods may vary by region. Always consult your vehicle’s user manual or a professional mechanic to ensure proper installation.
